OHIO — A 22-year-old woman died Wednesday morning in a crash near a pawn shop on East Third Street in Dayton.
Around 11:30 a.m., Dayton police and medics responded to reports of a crash in the 1200 block of East Third Street.
Authorities said the woman was driving a 2013 Nissan Sentra west on East Third Street when the vehicle crossed over into the eastbound lanes, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car, had to be extricated from the vehicle.
She was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
