OHIO — The Canton Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday at an apartment on the 3900 block of Tuscarawas Street.
According to police, officers responded to the scene and found 21-year-old Daryle Bryant inside the apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. Bryant was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Investigators said the suspect left the scene but was arrested Tuesday morning.
Deiveon Newman, 19, of Massillon, is in custody and faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence, police said.
