
OHIO — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in the Village of Shadyside, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers from the St. Clairsville Post said the crash happened at the intersection of Shadyside North and East 34th Street.
Investigators said a 2025 Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle, driven by Aiden Frazier of Bellaire, was traveling northbound when a southbound 1994 Ford Ranger attempted to turn left onto East 34th Street. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
Frazier was taken to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, a juvenile, and passenger, 73-year-old Eric Gartner of Shadyside, were also taken to Wheeling Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Agencies responding to the scene included OR&W EMS, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, Shadyside Police, Braden’s A1 Towing, and Naylor Bros. Towing.
The Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation.
