
OHIO — A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Kent was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Trumbull County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of State Routes 5 and 534.
According to troopers, a 2007 Jeep Commander was traveling east on SR 5 and attempted to turn left onto SR 534 when it was struck by a motorcycle heading west on SR 5.
The motorcyclist, identified as Colin Conklin, was taken to University Hospital in Portage County, where he died from his injuries.
Troopers said Conklin was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
