FLORIDA — A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Orlando died after colliding with a parked semi-truck late Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. on South Kirkman Road near the intersection with Universal Boulevard and Tradeshow Boulevard.
The motorcyclist was traveling southbound when he ran off the roadway onto the northbound shoulder of Tradeshow Boulevard and struck a parked Freightliner truck.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
