PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania officials announced a significant crackdown on a high-level drug trafficking ring in North Philadelphia, with 21 people now facing charges related to the distribution of cocaine and crack, authorities said.
Attorney General Dave Sunday, a Republican, emphasized the importance of collaboration in combating drug crime, stating, “By uniting as one we form a shield that keeps drugs off our streets and out of the hands of our children. Collaboration makes community safer and everyone you see here today played a very important role.”
Investigators executed search warrants across multiple counties, recovering drugs, firearms, cell phones, and vehicles connected to the operation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
