KENTUCKY — A Powerball ticket sold in Kentucky won $200,000 in Saturday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The drawing was held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, and the winning numbers were 5, 8, 27, 49, 57, with a Powerball of 14. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 4x, which increased the prize amount for the Kentucky ticket.
Officials have not yet announced where in Kentucky the winning ticket was sold. The ticket matched enough numbers to secure the $200,000 prize. Winners are advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Kentucky Lottery to begin the claims process.
No ticket matched all six numbers in the drawing, causing the jackpot to roll over. The estimated jackpot for the next Powerball drawing now stands at $193 million, with a cash value of $87.9 million.
Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Kentucky Lottery officials remind players that prizes must be claimed within the timeframe set by state law.
