FLORIDA — Two winning Powerball tickets were sold in Florida during Saturday night’s drawing, with prizes totaling $250,000, according to lottery officials.
The drawing was held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, and the winning numbers were 5, 8, 27, 49, 57, with a Powerball of 14. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 4x.
One ticket sold in Florida won $200,000, while another Florida ticket won $50,000. Officials have not yet released the locations where the winning tickets were sold. Winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the Florida Lottery to claim their prizes.
No ticket matched all six numbers in the drawing, so the jackpot rolled over. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing stands at $193 million, with a cash value of $87.9 million.
Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held three times a week, and Florida Lottery officials remind players that prize claims are subject to state rules and deadlines.
