OHIO — No one hit the $754 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night’s drawing, but thousands of Ohio players still took home prizes ranging from $10 to $20,000.
The winning numbers for the Oct. 31 drawing were 2, 24, 52, 66, and 68, with the Mega Ball 9.
According to the Ohio Lottery, one ticket in the state matched enough numbers to win $20,000.
Other prizes included four tickets worth $1,500, five tickets worth $1,000, and dozens more ranging from $800 to $10. In total, thousands of Ohio players won smaller prizes, with more than 6,000 tickets earning $10 each.
The Mega Millions jackpot now rises to an estimated $800 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Lottery officials noted that recent changes to the game have slightly improved the odds of winning the top prize—from 1 in 302,575,350 to 1 in 290,472,336.
