
MICHIGAN — A 20-year-old man from the Muskegon area was killed in an overnight crash north of the city, according to Michigan State Police.
Troopers said the crash happened on Russell Road, south of Bard and near U.S. 31. Investigators believe the driver lost control of his vehicle, striking several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said speed and weather conditions are considered likely factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
