OHIO — A Circle K in Akron sold a $2 million winning ticket in the August 27 Powerball drawing.
The ticket, purchased at Circle K #5702 at 3520 S. Arlington Road, matched all five white balls to win $1 million. Because the buyer added the Powerplay option, the prize doubled to $2 million.
The winning numbers were 9, 12, 22, 41, and 61. The Powerball was 25, and the Powerplay multiplier was 4.
The ticket holder has 180 days to claim the prize.
Meanwhile, the jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball drawing has grown to $950 million. Tickets are available at any Ohio Lottery retailer.
