TEXAS — A Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold in Texas following the drawing held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers drawn were 18, 21, 40, 53, 60, with Powerball number 23. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 3x. The Texas ticket matched five white balls, earning a $1 million prize, which was doubled to $2 million thanks to the Power Play option.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot, which was estimated at $74 million for the drawing. The cash value of the jackpot was approximately $33.6 million.
Lottery officials have not yet released the location of the retailer where the $2 million ticket was sold. Winners are reminded to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Texas Lottery for prize claim information.
