NORTH CAROLINA — A Powerball ticket sold in North Carolina won a $2 million prize in Saturday night’s drawing, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, were 1, 28, 31, 57, and 58. The Powerball number was 16, and the Power Play multiplier was 2x.
The $2 million prize-winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers and used the Power Play option. Officials have not yet released the specific location where the winning ticket was sold.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. As a result, the estimated Powerball jackpot now stands at $1.10 billion, with a cash value of approximately $503.4 million.
Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully and sign the back of any winning ticket.
