$2 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Toledo woman has claimed the top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off game, winning $80,000 a year for 25 years.

The winner chose the cash option of $1 million. After state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, she will receive $720,000.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Sam’s Deli, 812 Matzinger Road in Toledo.

$2,000,000 Cashword is a $30 scratch-off game with a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. As of August 6, one top prize remains.
