$2 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Cleveland resident has hit it big, winning the top prize of $2 million on the Ohio Lottery’s $300 Million Diamond Dazzler scratch-off ticket.

The lucky winner chose the annuity payout option, receiving $80,000 annually for 25 years.

After state and federal taxes totaling 28%, he will take home a total of $1.44 million over the life of the annuity.

The winning ticket was sold at Sheetz #724, located at 975 E. Dublin Granville Rd. in Columbus.

300 Million Diamond Dazzler is a $20 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $80,000 per year for 25 years. As of May 29, ten top prizes remain unclaimed.
