
OKLAHOMA — A 19-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Grady County, according to authorities.
An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states the crash occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on 2860 County Street in the town of Alex. Investigators said the vehicle left the roadway, struck a fence, rolled multiple times, and came to rest on a steel cattle gate.
The driver was identified as Dustin Lee James, 19, of Alex. Authorities said James became trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle was injured during the crash. The extent of that person’s injuries was not immediately known.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
