KENTUCKY — A 19-year-old Amish man was killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving a van and a horse-drawn buggy, authorities said.
The Casey County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident occurred around 7 a.m. on Highway 127 near Highway 501.
An adult and three children were inside the van, and one of the children sustained injuries in the crash.
The 19-year-old driving the buggy was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident.
