
ALABAMA — A 19-year-old man from Salem was killed early Sunday morning after his truck left the roadway and overturned in Russell County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Authorities said Corbin Lendy Regan was driving a 2022 Mack MD6 truck on Howard Road when the vehicle left the roadway at approximately 6:38 a.m. The truck struck an embankment and a utility pole before overturning.
Regan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The crash occurred on Howard Road about 20 miles south of the Phenix City city limits. Alabama State Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
