NORTH CAROLINA — An 18-year-old from Davie County has been arrested after allegedly making threats against the University of Louisville, authorities said Friday.
According to the Davie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted by the University of Louisville Police Department after the school received threats of mass violence.
An investigation led deputies to an address on Bingham and Parks Road in Davie County, where they determined Michael Tedder was responsible.
Tedder was arrested and charged with one count of communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property. He is being held without bond while awaiting his first court appearance.
