OHIO — An 18-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a crash Tuesday evening in Franklin Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 6 p.m. on U.S. Route 23 near Alma Omega Road.

Troopers say Drezden Bolin-Hitchens, 18, was driving a 2020 GMC Terrain southeast on U.S. 23 when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2016 Nissan NV2500 traveling in the opposite direction.

Bolin-Hitchens was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan NV2500 was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. A passenger in the Nissan was also taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
