18-year-old dead following UTV crash in Michigan

MICHIGAN — An 18-year-old man from Sebewaing died early Thursday in a UTV crash at the intersection of Notter and Kilmanagh roads, the Huron County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Authorities said the teen was traveling south on Notter Road when he failed to navigate a turn at the intersection.

His father discovered him after he did not return home on his Can-Am side-by-side vehicle.

The sheriff’s office did not release the teen’s name Thursday morning and said a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash. An accident investigator processed the scene, and an autopsy is expected later this week to help determine the cause of death.
