18 arrested in connection to meth in Illinois

ILLINOIS — The Pana Police Department announced that 18 people have been arrested over the past several weeks in connection with methamphetamine-related crimes ranging from possession to delivery.

Police said the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to address “an issue that negatively affects so many people.” Several cases were investigated by the Central Illinois Enforcement Group (CIEG), a multi-agency narcotics unit led by Illinois State Police with officers from Pana Police Department and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Those arrested include:

  • July 2, 2025: Jonathon Cohan of Pana, warrant for possession of meth
  • July 4, 2025: Danny Stanberry of Pana, possession of meth
  • July 6, 2025: Matthew Fallacaro of Pana, possession of meth
  • July 8, 2025: Michael McKittrick Jr. of Pana, delivery and possession of meth
  • July 9, 2025: Alexander Ziros of Taylorville, possession of meth
  • July 17, 2025: Jimmy Abberley of Pana, possession of meth
  • July 23, 2025: Angel Stout of Tower Hill, delivery of meth
  • July 28, 2025: Brandon Kay of Pana, possession of meth
  • Aug. 21, 2025: Jonathon Cohan of Pana, possession of meth
  • Aug. 21, 2025: Matthew Beck of Cowden, possession of meth
  • Aug. 21, 2025: Nathaniel Baker of Pana, possession of meth
  • Sept. 3, 2025: Tyler Engelhart of Pana, possession of meth
  • Sept. 3, 2025: Robert Abberley of Pana, possession of meth
  • Sept. 5, 2025: Douglas Manual of Pana, warrant for delivery of meth
  • Sept. 6, 2025: Rodney Green of Pana, warrant for delivery and possession of meth
  • Sept. 6, 2025: Michael Beck of Cowden, warrant for delivery and possession of meth
  • Sept. 10, 2025: Stephanie Bailey of Pana, warrant for delivery of meth
  • Sept. 12, 2025: Christina L. Woestman of Pana, warrant for delivery of meth

The department emphasized that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Officials added they intend to continue aggressively targeting those involved in meth trafficking and use.

Services are available to both the uninsured and underinsured.
