OHIO — A 17-year-old sustained minor injuries following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Darke County.
According to a spokesperson with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just after 5 a.m. near the 12700 block of Greenville St. Mary’s Road.
Investigators said a black 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by the 17-year-old, was traveling southwest on Greenville St. Mary’s Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The truck crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck a utility pole and a tree.
The driver was transported to Wayne Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
