FLORIDA — Seventeen people have been arrested following a 14-month investigation into an illegal drug trafficking organization operating in Palm Beach and Broward counties, the Boynton Beach Police Department announced Thursday.
The investigation, known as “Operation Trackside,” was led by the Boynton Beach Police Department in coordination with the DEA’s Enforcement Group 2 in West Palm Beach.
Authorities say the operation targeted a network involved in the distribution of illegal drugs across both counties.
A multi-agency press conference providing additional details is scheduled for Thursday morning.
