$150,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — One lucky lottery player in Akron is celebrating a big win after purchasing a $150,000-winning Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 100X scratch-off ticket.

The winning ticket was bought at Short Stop, located at 1690 Massillon Road in Akron.

After federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will take home approximately $108,000.

Monopoly Bonus Spectacular 100X is a $20 scratch-off from the Ohio Lottery offering a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years.

As of April 29, three top prizes remain, along with several other prize levels.
