OHIO — A Cincinnati man’s routine stop for gas turned into a life-changing moment after he purchased two Ohio Lottery scratch-off tickets and won a $150,000 top prize.
The man said he decided to try his luck while fueling up, buying two tickets in hopes of a small win. Instead, he scratched off a winning “Let it Snow” ticket worth $150,000. He said he initially did not believe what he was seeing when the prize amount was revealed.
After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 26.75%, the winner will take home $109,875. He said he plans to use the money to pay bills and make repairs to his home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Valley Beer Drive Thru, located at 717 Vine St. in Cincinnati.
“Let it Snow” is a $5 Ohio Lottery scratch-off game with overall odds of winning of 1 in 3.53. As of Feb. 24, 2026, one top prize of $150,000 remains in the game.
