$150,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A customer at Discount Drug Mart #73 in Fairborn has won a $150,000 top prize playing the Ohio Lottery’s $5 Cash Explosion 25x scratch-off game.

The winner, who frequently visits the store for supplies and lottery tickets, will take home approximately $108,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the player beat odds of 1 in 800,000 to claim the top prize. Overall odds of winning in the Cash Explosion 25x game are 1 in 3.77. The Cash Explosion family of games also offers players chances to appear on the Ohio Lottery’s television show.

Discount Drug Mart #73, located at 7617 Dayton Springfield Road, will receive a $1,500 sales bonus for selling the winning ticket.
