
MARYLAND — A 14-year-old boy was stabbed during a fight on a school bus Tuesday in Germantown, according to Montgomery County Police Department.
Authorities said the incident began as an argument between the boy and a group of other juveniles while on the bus. The situation escalated into a physical altercation, during which the 14-year-old was stabbed.
After the incident, the victim went to a nearby grocery store and called 911. He was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover, police said.
Officers searched the area following the stabbing, and a 16-year-old boy was later taken into custody in connection with the incident.
No additional details about the suspect or potential charges have been released.
