11 people arrested following drug bust in Indiana

INDIANA — Eleven people have been arrested following a multi-agency drug investigation targeting the distribution of narcotics in Dubois County, according to Dubois County Prosecutor Beth Schroeder.

In a statement released Tuesday, Schroeder said the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office partnered with the Jasper Police Department, Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Huntingburg Police Department and Indiana State Police to carry out a coordinated roundup after arrest warrants were issued for multiple drug dealing offenses.

Officials said the investigation, known as “Operation: Snow White,” followed months of law enforcement work into the illegal distribution of narcotics throughout the county.

Authorities executed arrest warrants simultaneously at locations in Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Warrick and Perry counties, as well as in Owensboro.

Among those arrested was Andrew D. Benales of Paoli, who is charged with dealing in cocaine as a Level 2 felony, dealing in cocaine as a Level 4 felony and dealing in a Schedule IV controlled substance as a Class A misdemeanor. His bond was set at $25,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring if he posts bond.

Avery B. Northerner of Tell City faces two counts of dealing in methamphetamine, both Level 3 felonies. Northerner was served while in custody at the Spencer County Security Center, where she was already being held on a $200,000 bond.

Bobbie J. Nadeau of French Lick is charged with two counts of dealing in methamphetamine, both Level 2 felonies. Her bond was set at $50,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

Bryor L. Shipman of French Lick faces a charge of dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

Kaylin M. McKinney of French Lick is charged with dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony. Her bond was also set at $50,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring, and officials said she is being held without bond on misdemeanor warrants.

Darrel R. Harris Jr. of Huntingburg faces a charge of dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 3 felony. Harris was served while in custody at the Dubois County Security Center, where he was already being held on a $20,000 cash bond in a separate case charging him with dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony. Bond in the new case was set at an additional $25,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

Juan Carlos Sanchez of Jasper is charged with dealing in marijuana as a Level 6 felony. His bond was set at $1,500 cash only with moderate pre-trial monitoring.

Saul Jesus Reyes of Jasper faces charges of dealing in cocaine as a Level 2 felony and dealing in marijuana as a Level 6 felony.

Jefferey R. Sandage of Tell City is charged with dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 4 felony. Sandage was served while in custody at the Perry County Security Center, where he was being held on a $255,000 bond.

Shannon R. Simmons of Cannelton faces two counts of dealing in methamphetamine, both Level 4 felonies. Her bond was set at $10,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

Zachary W. Hill of Dale is also charged with two counts of dealing in methamphetamine as Level 4 felonies. His bond was set at $10,000 cash only with enhanced pre-trial monitoring.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
