$100,000 Powerball ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — While no one claimed the $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night’s drawing, one Miami Valley resident still struck it big.

According to the Ohio Lottery, a winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a local Meijer.

The ticket matched four of the five numbers along with the Power Play.

The jackpot has now climbed to an estimated $1.7 billion, with the next drawing set for Saturday, Sept. 6.
