$100,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky lottery player has won $100,000 playing the Ohio Lottery’s Winter Fun scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sharon Square Wine Shop, located at 5590 N. High St. in Worthington.

After mandatory state and federal taxes, which total 28%, the winner will take home approximately $72,000.

Winter Fun is a $10 scratch-off game with a top prize of $500,000.

As of January 13, two top prizes remain unclaimed in the game.
