$100,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Sylvania resident is celebrating a six-figure lottery win after playing an Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off ticket.

Erica of Sylvania won $100,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Winter Green Scratch-Off game, according to lottery officials. After state and federal taxes totaling 27.125 percent are withheld, her take-home amount will be $72,875.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sylvania Mini Mart, located at 5153 S. Main St. in Sylvania.

Winter Green is a $10 Gigantix Scratch-Off game that offers a top prize of $500,000. As of December 15, 2025, two top prizes remain unclaimed statewide.
