$100,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Norton man is celebrating a big win after purchasing a $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off ticket at Acme Fresh Market #16.

William, whose last name was not released, won $100,000 on the $30 Ohio Lottery game.

He claimed his prize Friday at the Ohio Lottery’s Akron/Canton regional office and will take home approximately $72,000 after taxes.

The winning ticket was bought at the Acme Fresh Market located at 3200 Greenwich Road in Norton.

According to the Ohio Lottery, six $100,000 prizes and two $2-million annuity top prizes remain in the $2,000,000 Cashword game.
