OHIO — A 100-year-old Wadsworth woman has died following a Sunday afternoon crash in Wayne County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Dolly Cromer was a passenger in a 2002 Ford Ranger struck at the intersection of County Road 78 and County Road 6 around 2 p.m. on Nov. 23.
The driver of a red 2026 Chevrolet Colorado reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the pickup, which was carrying three women.
All three occupants of the Ford Ranger were transported to Wooster Community Hospital. Cromer initially appeared to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries, but troopers were later informed she died the next day as a result of those injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released information on the condition of the other driver, and it is unclear whether any charges have been filed.
