FLORIDA — A Florida Lottery player is starting the holiday season with a major win after matching five numbers in the latest Powerball drawing, securing a $1 million prize.
The drawing was held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025. The winning numbers were 4, 5, 28, 52 and 69, with the Powerball number 20.
The Power Play option was set at 3x. While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot, at least one ticket sold in Florida matched all five white balls, earning the $1 million prize.
Lottery officials have not yet released details about where in Florida the winning ticket was sold or whether the winner has come forward.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot continues to climb. The next drawing is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, with an estimated jackpot of $1.60 billion. The cash value option for the top prize is estimated at $735.3 million.
