$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky Ohio Lottery player in Mansfield has won a $1 million top prize on the VIP Millions scratch-off ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 876 E Park Ave.

The winner opted for the cash payout of $500,000.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28%, he will take home approximately $360,000.

VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $40,000 per year for 25 years.

As of January 31, 46 top prizes remain available.
