$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Parma Heights woman is celebrating after winning the $1,000,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off game, VIP Millions.

She opted for the cash payout of $500,000, and after state and federal taxes, she will take home $360,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Parma Heights Beverage and Deli, located at 6660 Pearl Road.

VIP Millions is a $50 Scratch-Off game with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of August 29, 29 top prizes remain in the game.
