$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A $30 Extreme Millions scratch-off ticket purchased at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway has earned one customer a $1 million annuity prize, the Ohio Lottery announced Friday.

The winner, whose name was not released, chose to receive the prize as annual payments of $40,000 for 25 years before taxes. The odds of winning the second-tier prize were 1 in 468,085.

As of Friday, 15 $1 million prizes, one $10 million top prize, and other prizes remain in the Extreme Millions game. The ticket’s overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 2.87.

Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway is located at 777 Hollywood Boulevard. Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
