$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Leetonia man has claimed the top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s Royal Riches Scratch-Off game, winning $80,000 a year for 25 years.

The winner opted for the game’s $1 million cash payout. After state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, he will receive $720,000.

The lucky ticket was purchased at D P Fuel, located at 3952 State Route 7 in New Waterford.

Royal Riches is a $30 Scratch-Off game with a top prize of $80,000 a year for 25 years. As of August 6, six top prizes remain.
