OHIO — A lucky customer who stopped by Grab and Go in Fairfield walked away with a life-changing prize—a $1-million annuity from the Ohio Lottery’s Billion scratch-off game.

The winner, who has not been publicly identified, claimed the game’s second-tier prize, which will be paid out as $50,000 per year for 20 years before taxes.

The odds of winning this prize were 1 in 99,692.

The winning ticket was sold at Grab and Go, located at 6330 Pleasant Avenue in Fairfield.

As of July 18, 118 prizes of $50,000 still remain in the Billion game, along with top-tier prizes of $1 million a year for life.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed over $33 billion to support education across the state. More information about Ohio Lottery games and their impact on education can be found at www.ohiolottery.com/supportingeducation.
