
OHIO — A Lancaster resident has won the $1 million top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off ticket.
The winner selected the cash option, taking a lump sum of $500,000.
After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, he will receive $360,000.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Stakely’s Watson, located at 1510 Sheridan Drive in Lancaster.
VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years.
According to the Ohio Lottery, 31 top prizes remain in the game.
