$1 million lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — An Ohio Lottery player has won the $1-million top prize on the VIP Millions scratch-off, lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket was sold at London Road Shell, located at 132 London Road in Delaware.

The winner chose the $500,000 cash option and will receive approximately $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $40,000 per year for 25 years.

As of April 3, 41 top prizes remain.
